Did the Writers Guild Of America just shoot itself and the screenwriters and television writers they represent in the foot? The WGA just announced a writers strike that will begin today, but with the advent of technology, especially A.I. that can create stories and characters with a simple prompt, could the Hollywood writers find themselves obsolete?
