investigated vegetable oils &
heart disease...
but due to funding from Proctor
& Gamble and others,
vegetable oils were not researched
[studies that showed poor results
from vegetable oils were suppressed
for decades]

In 19th century there was virtually
no coronary heart disease
-only 3 papers on heart attacks
-first US heart attack: 1912
-by 1930s heart disease became
leading cause of death
-and has stayed #1 since
