State Dept. welcomes back Fox News reporter who spent year recovering from Ukraine injuries

Principal Deputy Spokesman Vendant Petal started off his press briefing Monday with a standing ovation for Fox News foreign correspondent Benjamin Hall. While reporting in Ukraine a few weeks after the Russian invasion of 2022, a vehicle Hall was riding in was struck by a missile. Hall spent a year undergoing roughly 30 surgeries before returning to his beat at the State Department on Monday.
