Do This BEFORE Visiting Another Open House

Why signing a buyer's representation agreement is in YOUR best interest. A lot of people like to house shop and visit open houses on weekends. It's a fun thing to do. But a big mistake many people make is talking to agent after agent without taking a few minutes to develop a relationship with one. This can cost a buyer a lot of money and wasted time, and I explain why in this video. You incentivize your Realtor to earn his commission by signing a buyer's representation agreement early in the process of looking for a home. Then he is more likely to invest significantly of his time, money, and resources, and you can share bargaining information that he is required to keep confidential. In a customer relationship, bargaining information is not confidential. In a client relationship — when there is a buyer's representation agreement — that information is confidential for life, not just for that transaction.
