World Health Organization declares unvaccinated a "deadly movement"

In a recent video posted on the World Health Organization (WHO) Twitter page, Dr. Peter Hotez said that "anti-vaccine activism" is an "anti-science aggression" and associates people who oppose COVID injections with the "extreme right."

"We need to recognize that anti-vaccine activism, which I actually call anti-science aggression, has now become a major lethal force worldwide," Hotez said in the video, which features photos of protesters against the COVID vaccinations.

The university professor of biology at Baylor College of Medicine claimed that "during the COVID pandemic, 200,000 Americans needlessly lost their lives in the United States because they refused to get vaccinated against COVID, even after vaccines became widely available."

"And now anti-vaccine activism is spreading around the world [...]."

"It's a deadly force," Hotez proclaimed. "Anti-science now kills more people than things like gun violence, global terrorism, nuclear proliferation or cyber attacks."

"And now it has become a political movement," he continued. "In the U.S., it's associated with right-wing extremism, and it's associated with right-wing extremism in Germany."

"So this is a new face of anti-science aggression. And that's why we need political solutions to counter it."

Hotez appears to be very close to Ghebreyesus, referring to him in a recent tweet as "my brother and mentor Dr. Tedros" in response to the murder of the WHO director's uncle. Tweet found here (https://twitter.com/PeterHotez/status/1603148398223409154).
