How to make homemade laundry detergent!
1 cup of Super Washing Soda
1 cup of borax
(found in the laundry detergent section at the grocery)
1.5 bars of Kirk's bar soap (or whichever you prefer)
(body wash section)
5 gallon bucket
cheese grater
Add one cup of super washing soda and borax to the 5 gallon bucket filled halfway with hot water
grade the one and a half bar of soap into a pot. Add Water turn the burner on medium low let the soap melt down.
Add the melted soap in the pot to the mixture in the 5 gallon bucket. Top the bucket off with hot water and stir.
A half a cup of soap will be sufficient while doing a load of laundry. You may add things like essential oils to the mixture or herbs if you want it to be scented. You could also use a scented bar soap if you prefer.
