[ Donetsk Front ] UKRAINE OFFENSIVE OPERATION ON VODYANE - Russia wins Druzhby Avenue in Marinka

Update from the Donetsk Front: Ukraine launch a major attack on the Russian positions at Vodyane, first attack from the NE, and then with a seemingly bigger force of several tanks and infantry fighting vehicles from the NW.

This is the first such major assault operation from the Ukrainian side since their counter offensive at Vuhledar that captured half of the Mykilske dachas and section of Pavlivka north of the river.

In Marinka, Russian forces finally ousted the Ukrainian defenders from the central part of Marinka (along Druzhby Avenue) and managed to drive the fighting the western part of the town - information is acknowleged by the pro-Ukrainian side as well.

Gathering of Russian forces is reported at Kruta Balka as the assault on Avdiivka is now coming from the east as well, on top of the previous attempts that came from the NE from Novobakhmutivka direction.
