Hereafter Our Sister ~ Prologue

The prologue of Hereafter Our Sister, a Pride and Prejudice Variation is read by the author. I beg your indulgence with my approximated accents and inelegant home recording. I own the copyright to the written material. You can find the full novel on Amazon.

Caroline Bingley and Elizabeth Bennet are raised in the wrong homes: "I am not a Bingley but a Bennet. It seems that before I could walk on my own, I was already causing mischief, and after playing in some mud, I found my way to the wrong carriage. I have lived as an imposter ever since."

In this Pride and Prejudice variation, the characters find themselves in different circumstances. Caroline is raised as Miss Elizabeth and learns to accomplish her goals as one of five sisters. Elizabeth is raised as Caroline Bingley. As Miss Bingley she is often in company with her brother's friend Darcy, a man she respects but does not always like. Darcy is smitten. Caroline, believing she is Miss Elizabeth, is determined. George Wickham plots revenge. Lady Catherine is incorrigible. Anne is odd. And the Colonel is helpful. Almost everyone gets what they most desire, but what they want doesn't always result in happiness. I do hope it results in your amusement. I invite you to forgive its imperfections and laugh with me as we follow a very different love story for Darcy and Elizabeth.
