HUXLEY TELECASTER STYLE ELECTRIC GUITAR FROM ALDI UNBOXING & SET UP DEMO

In this video, I show the surprisingly good & frugal Telecaster style electric guitar that was on sale recently at ALDI!

They normally retail @ $100, but they always have left overs and get marked down to $60-70!!!

I got this 1 for $70!

For the money, I CAN'T really fault it!

Neck and body well made, and joined, frets neatly installed, no sharp or rough edges. The nut was cut perfectly, I did not need to do any slot filing whatsoever!! 0.5mm @ fret 1!

The pick ups, (as you would expect) at this price point ARE rubbish, however are not terrible. Weak ceramics, however, it does sound LIKE what it looks like! Not great, but it's in the tonal ball park. I HAVE heard worse on $2-300 examples!

This is NO Fender folks, however, I think it IS as good as any mid range SQUIER Telecaster, with natural neck and cheapy pick ups!

This will be a chopper guitar, and will not be very Tele-esque by the time it's done.

For a sub $100 guitar, it is far BETTER than you should expect to get for that sort of spend!
