She was stuck in the roots of the tree and was no longer moving

Miguel Angel Escobar and his family were traveling by boat along the coast of Honduras when something caught their attention - and immediately broke their hearts. There, on a remote stretch of shore, they noticed a huge sea turtle entangled in the roots of trees at the very edge of the water. "I thought she was dead," Escobar said.
