Evil Eye and Black Magic is widespread, and both are considered serious issues that can harm individuals, families, and communities.
The Evil Eye is referred to as "Al-'Ayn" in Islamic terminology and is considered a real and dangerous phenomenon. It is believed that people with strong jealousy and envy can unintentionally harm others through their looks, words, or actions, causing them to suffer from bad luck, illness, or other misfortunes.

Black Magic, known as "Sihr" in Islam, is also considered a serious offense and a major sin. It involves using supernatural powers to cause harm to someone, including casting spells or performing rituals to manipulate their will or cause them physical or psychological harm. The practice of Black Magic is strictly prohibited in Islam, and those who engage in it are considered to be in a state of disbelief and are subject to punishment in the Hereafter.
The dua for protection from evil eye and black magic is:
Bismillahi arqeek, min kulli shay’in yu’dheek, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid, Allaahu yashfeek, Bismillaahi arqeek.
With the Name of Allah, I recite over you (to cleanse you) from all that troubles you, and from every harmful mischief and from the evil of the eyes of an envier. Allah will cure you; and with the Name of Allah, I recite over you.
