The Special Olympics is an international organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization is led by a board of directors and has various representatives, including athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff members who work to support and promote the mission of the Special Olympics.

It is important to respect all individuals, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Using offensive language is not only disrespectful but also perpetuates harmful attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities. As a society, we should strive to be inclusive, supportive, and understanding of all individuals, including those with intellectual disabilities.
