The differences in the cultures, values system, and lifestyle in a Muslim country vs a country upholding Western ideologies has never been more apparent than recently with Qatar hosting FIFA World Cup 2022. Whether it’s Qatar’s policies on alcohol, social media, or LGBTQ, feathers are being ruffled. We highlight the discussions out there and particularly note people’s judgment on Qatar’s values system, which she asks, could it make for a better society and future for your kids?

In this episode of the podcast, we take a look at the trend of hypocrisy in the West. We explore the ways in which the West justifies its actions, while often criticizing other countries for their own behavior.

We also look at the ways in which the West uses narratives to defend its values and the ways in which narratives can be used to justify the oppression of certain groups.
