LARGER THAN LIFE

The little girl comes to the Pastor and asks how big God is. And the Pastor, with all of his infinite wisdom, tries to relate God to a four-year-old. Good luck with that one, Pastor.
Most of us have asked that question throughout our lives, wondering if God is big enough to solve our problems or care for our needs.
We're not four years old anymore, but we're still wondering about God's ability to supply every need according to his riches in glory.
The apostle Paul said he could go beyond anything we could imagine and think about. Take note of some of the big thinkers that you hear about in your life. They brag about their intellectual wisdom and ability to predict the future and tell you how it will be.
Yeah, the scriptures tell us that God sits in the heavens and laughs at the wisdom of men and counts as foolishness. Why does he do that?/
Because he is larger than life.
When you and I join him through the miracle of conversion, we become one with the creator of all the universe so that we become larger than life.
As a matter of fact, we currently possess eternal life, and we will never die.
Whoops! I hope I didn't lose you around the corner there.
Remember that the body you have is what is called in the Scriptures a tent. I call it our earth suit. You've got to have one to stay on this blue ball that we live on.
But when we were joined to Christ, we became eternally alive, and our spirits are so inner twined with his that we will never be taken out of the hand of God.
So lift your voice to praise the God who has made you larger than life.
