Bruno Fernandes, in the 39th minute, scored the only goal of the match and gave the three points to the Red Devils. With that victory, United reached 63 points and opened nine points from Tottenham and Villa in the race for a place in the Champions League. Now they are playing directly with Newcastle to go directly to the group stage. The Lions, on the other hand, lost the chance to touch United and were in sixth place, with 54 points.
