The first international shipment of life-saving material arrived in Port Sudan on Sunday from Amman, Jordan, as part of the emergency operations by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). "The eight tons of humanitarian cargo includes surgical material to support Sudanese hospitals and volunteers from the Sudan Red Crescent Society (SRCS) who are providing medical care to people wounded in the fighting", the ICRC said Sunday in a press release.
