Building Wood Survival Shelter in the Forest - Part 2 🌲🔥 | ASMR Bushcraft and Campfire with Wildlife

Welcome to Renegade Scout Bushcraft!

In this video, I continued to work on my shelter in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. The weather is warming up and has afforded me more time to spend working on the front walls and I even got to tinker around with crafting a table and carving a spoon.

While I was cutting down some dead pine trees, I was able to capture a Northern Flicker woodpecker and a squirrel on camera. One of my first days at the build location, an owl made his presence known. He was a tad camera shy but I have been crossing my fingers that one day he will return and allow me to video him. I’ve noticed that the more time I spend at the shelter, the more comfortable wildlife is with me. Having said that, after returning to the shelter after a few days away, the forest is very quiet and still.

After working up an appetite, I cooked up a moose steak with some potatoes and mushrooms. I made a stove out of rocks and cooked everything up over the fire. I also foraged the woods for some juniper to make some tea.

This shelter is taking me a while to build because it's going to be a more permanent shelter out here in the wilderness. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and I hope you enjoyed seeing what I'm up to out here in the wild. Stay tuned for upcoming videos that will offer some insight into other shelter builds, survival skills, cooking, carving, and much more!
