The term “The Dead” is used 5 times in Revelation 20 with the article “The”. The Greek points this out as being spiritually dead, dead to the truth or dead to salvation. Dead apart from the flesh body. In the final analysis they are mortal spiritual bodies who are liable to death. These were all judged at the JSOC and found wanting. They are subject to death and still mortal.

The purpose of the millennium is to give them one last chance at eternal life. Otherwise the millennium would be useless. The fact that it is a prescribed time appointed as a thousand years proves that there is passing of time for those who are still mortal. There can be no other reason.
This to me is proof of a loving Father who would go to the ends of the universe for HIS children to redeem them.

Of course this doesn’t fit the narrative of the modern Church. They would have you believe that this is it. If you don’t accept Christ as your savior you will be punished for all of eternity. Their intentions are to scare you into heaven by threat of an angry vengeful God who wants to punish you forever if you don’t love Him.

You might ask, so what is the reason for Christ dying on the cross if there is a second chance? Can any of us predict how many people sense the beginning of this age have never heard the gospel? Answer; No… not one of us can. The plan of YHVH is complete, nobody will fall through the cracks, God will see to it.

The whole concept of eternal punishment and “this is the final chance”, is designed to fill churches and beat you into heaven. The word hell has evolved through the centuries to the misguided version we now have today which is totally contrary to the divine word Sheol. It is the place of departed souls who are hidden from the world of the living. The pit or the grave have nothing to do with eternal punishment, it is a total fabrication and the misguided machinations of men.

The Lord for some reason has made this crystal clear to me and I have been chosen to be the hair in your biscuit. That is to say, to the people who teach this so great a lie.

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

The LORDS DAY is the beginning of the Millennium

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Satan bound a thousand years for the entire millennium

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season
When the Millennium is over satan will be released to test the spiritually dead who are still mortal

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The Zadok will rule and reign with Christ for the Millennium

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The remainder of souls will not be able to live again until after they are tested by satan for the last time. If they are found worthy they will then be able to proceed to the second resurrection and only then will they be given eternal life These are in their spiritual bodies but they are still mortal. “The rest of the dead” is describing all of those who didn’t take part in the first resurrection.
Elaborate on the word resurrection

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first resurrection takes place the moment every believer dies in this age. You are resurrected to eternal life at the JSOC. They are the first fruits. The second resurrection takes place after the GWTJ
The firstfruits are the Zadok and the GWTJ will be reward for them.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

He will then test the still mortal spiritual beings for one last time

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Gog and Magog simply means from the east to the west

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

After the GWTJ God the consuming fire will destroy them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The GWTJ
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The spiritually dead are then judged, this is the GWTJ

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
The sea is the multitude of people who were judged, they are still mortal
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

At this time the concept of death and separation from God will be done away with

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The lake of fire is God the consuming fire who will destroy all souls who were not found in the book of life, This is the second death

Resurrection G # 386 anastasis: a standing up, i.e. a resurrection, a raising up, rising
When the word “resurrection” is mentioned people conjure up all kinds of images in their mind of people rising up out of their graves like a zombie apocalypse.
To break it down, one of the meanings is a literal resurrection from the dead. In other words, the flesh comes back to life after it dies like Lazarus did. It’s the same body, it just came back to life.
The second meaning is to “rise” to a higher level or even dimension. To rise up, To rise from one plain of existence to another.
The third is a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth)
You are elevated or lifted up
No… people are not lying in a hole in the ground waiting to resurrect from the dead at the second coming.
