The globe is a coordinate system only, described in General Relativity "a curved linear coordinate system".
Earth is Flat encased in a toroidal field. Because the ring magnet is not electromagnetic it isn't exactly a torus field. It is Poloidal or radial while earth is Poloidal and Toroidal = radial and Axial respectively. A ring magnet does not have the Axial motion because it does not have the electrical component to it, the field would move around the ring magnet like the Sun if it did. The video is not correctly worded but after 4 attempts with a full house I called it a TAKE .See my comment .
