General Construction Term

fascia board - The fascia board is the long, straight board that runs along the lower edge of the roof. The fascia is fixed directly to the lower ends of the roof trusses and usually does all the work of supporting the lower edge of the bottom row of tiles. The fascia board also carries all the guttering.

lintel beam - a beam that is usually placed above windows and doors. The lintel's main job is to support the load from the structure above it.

formworks - is the structure, usually temporary, used to contain poured concrete and to mould it to the required dimensions and support until it is able to support itself.
