Salute to Service MARK MORITZ, US Army National Guard Veteran of Iraq/Afghanistan Wars - Interview
Today is a very special day in our Salute to Service series, as Brian interviews his older brother, US Army National Guard Sergeant First Class Mark Moritz!
Mark began his military career in 1988, he is currently serving in his second stint with the PA Army National Guard, having re-enlisted in 2006 in response to an internal calling to serve following the attacks of 9/11 and the ongoing fighting. Serving as an intelligence analyst, Mark has served four tours oversees in Iraq and Afghanistan. He talks with Brian about why he re-enlisted, what the average day for an intelligence analyst is like, how tough it was being away from family in a warzone, advice he'd give to young people thinking of joining the service, and much more.
We hope you enjoy this interview with Mark Moritz, an American hero, and like his other brother Ray, a personal hero of Brian's. Be on the lookout for further interviews with more incredible veterans and servicemen and women, as we continue to shine the spotlight on those who most deserve it. If you or a loved one are a veteran or active duty military servicemember, we'd love to hear from you! Thank you for your service!
