Ep. 26 Aurora Around America, Super Cat Fest Lake Havasu

Aurora Around America finds herself in Lake Havasu at Desert Storm and Super Cat Fest.
We stayed in the Lake Havasu area another month, not just because the entire country is still getting snow and we have to go to South Dakota, because of Desert Storm and Super Cat Fest. The fastest boats in the world race up and down the Colorado River at 200+mph. The record was set at 204 mph this year. It was worth the couple of 103 degree days this month.

Desert Storm starts with a street fest where the boats are display and you can get up close and check them out. Then on Friday and Saturday they hit the water for a couple hours of screaming engines and rooster tails. Lake Havasu attracts great winter events and we have really enjoyed our winter here.
