How I CURED my PHONE ADDICTION

In our current time, we have an almost symbiotic relationship with our phones. We may be able to leave them behind here and there with ease, say for camping, going to a movie, or shutting them down for a dinner out, but to remove them entirely would be rather difficult for the high majority of us, at least in America. We have developed a life around the tools in our phones and some of the most used and notably abused tools are the social media apps or any app that "Connects" us with other people. However, it is my belief this metaphorical output can cause a detrimental affect on our well being where we feed the twitch to connect with the "world" and constantly neglect our own self, then we wonder why we're fat, underpaid, under-skilled, insecure, and anxiety-ridden! I believe it's our relentless feed of glowing boxes. so i put my self to the task of curing this problem for myself. This is the method that has worked for me. Not only has it worked, but it's been working for over a half year now. "what about traveling?" you might ask, well, i scheduled a permission day of when i would download my favorite apps only and post, but after that, i would delete. It would be treated like a movie. I learned the hard way that one of my failed travelings with "temporary" social media, upon reflection, was so detached from the people and wonderful experiences i was in the heart of. I think what if one of them died and this was my memory, not talking to them and screwing around on Instagram, looking at the lives of people i'm not with, that maybe don't even know me instead of living my own life. So this thinking drove my motivation to the ten's and I can't see any reason why i would change this technique! Instead i'll be doubling down and eventually getting an old tablet of some sort so i can connect, but as entertainment only.I hope you enjoy this video, it's also a direct result of how . minimalism can evolve your brain to make your life easier when one needs to give up things, because sometimes those things are habits you have to give up.
