Sad Day. Wellco RAT Combat Boots boot fell apart on a hike.

This pair of two-year-old Wellco E162 Military Surplus Combat R.A.T. boots fell apart on a hike. The Vibram® rubber sole had been loose for a while, so it was bound to happen sooner or later. Still my favorite boots, I've worn out 4 or 5 pair at least in the past 10 years of so. I think I may have a new pair in a box somewhere. They are getting harder to find. I don't like the GoreTex versions at all. #boots #military #hiking
