1993 "Buy More Plastic" Plastic Ad Council Commercial (Weird Pepsi Bottle)

I always thought ads that were not about a brand, but just a type of thing were weird. Like Buy more wood, or springs, or copper. Very odd. The weirdest part of this ad is that is clearly the Pepsi logo, but it just says "cola." What is the point of using the logo, but not the brand name? It's clearly pepsi, you're not fooling anyone with the "cola" thing instead of it saying Pepsi like usual. Did they not get permission, but just used the logo anyway? We demand answers plastic council. Someone call the number and ask them!
