The father of German MEP Christine Anderson fought during World War II and was discharged in 1946. Then he realized: we have entered communist spheres.

He was arrested in 1950 and forced to do 25 years of hard labor in Bautzen, Anderson recounts in the documentary Fighting for Freedom. "One of the most horrible political prisons you can imagine," he says.

"We're not quite there yet [absolute tyranny], but they [global elites] are getting ready for it. And the further the process goes, the more intense will be the measures they will have to take to impose their will. And that's what we're seeing now."

In Berlin, a woman held a copy of the German constitution in her hands. She was pushed to the ground by police. "Can you imagine this? Is this what you call democracy?"

People protesting government policies were called enemies of the state and dismissed as people who are against democracy and want to depose [the government]. "No, these people were actually trying to defend the constitution."

Those trying to abolish the basic principles claim they are defending the Constitution, Anderson pointed out. "That's ridiculous," she said.

"If I'm not willing to do what he did then under those circumstances, what kind of Democrat would I be?
