ADDICTION Is DESTROYING Western Civilization

We live in a culture of addiction. Whether it's smartphones and social media, prescription drugs, fentanyl, or p*rnography, almost everyone is hooked on something. Normally we think about this in terms of the personal damage it does, and indeed it does a lot, but the harm goes further. A nation bound by instant gratification cannot stand for long, and the destruction of the West has come so far because we have abandoned self-control.
