Gardens by the Bay rant part 1 | Singapore | A Better Life in...Singapore?

Taking the opportunity to sit down and sweat profusely in the wonderful Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. Just a little talk about why I went to Singapore, with some hints for those going to Singapore for a quick visit/to update passports/to get a new tourist visa to the Philippines etc.

Note: currently you need to fill out the SG Arrival Card to enter Singapore. It does not cost anything (if you visit a site that wants to charge you - go to https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard instead) and you can fill it out 72 hours before travelling (iirc). Likewise, to enter the Philippines, currently you need to get your e-travel QR code at https://etravel.gov.ph/. To leave the Philippines, if you've stayed beyond your first 30 days...well, that would be its own video - but go to your closest BI in the Philippines and tell them you need an Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC). Quite a few steps, but it's not too expensive or bad (expect it to take 2-3 hours and less than 2k pesos with all photo copies etc).
