Why Taliban Killed ISIS-K Mastermind

What’s the old adage, the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

The Taliban is a vile terrorist militia, and it will never be our friend, but they just did the United States a favor by taking out the “mastermind” of the bombing attack that took the lives of 13 U.S. troops in Afghanistan during Biden’s botched withdrawal. It took our enemy to achieve the retribution that our President promised, and never delivered.

President Biden publicly vowed to the perpetrators of the Abbey Gate massacre: “We will hunt you down and make you pay.”

Well, the terrorist who planned out the attack has finally received the retribution he was due, but it wasn’t U.S. forces that carried out that justice. It was the Taliban. The same disgusting group that reportedly went door-to-door in Afghanistan after U.S. forces left, looking for young girls and unmarried women. The butchers who we told you executed over 100 Afghan troops for their loyalty to the United States. These terrorists did what our President didn’t, showing his words again were – and remain – empty. We hate saying that, but it’s the truth.

And to be clear, the Taliban didn’t kill this man for the United States. They did it in spite of us. They have their own fight with ISIS-K. If you’re surrounded by two hungry lions, and one takes out the other, you’re still left with a hungry lion – one you know isn’t afraid to kill. The Taliban remains our enemy, and the last thing the U.S. needs is them hanging this over our heads on the world stage.

The United States looks weak and exposed, thanks to Biden’s incompetence. China flew a spy balloon right over our heads, and Biden did nothing. Now we’ve learned that our enemy Iran just brazenly seized an oil tanker that was headed for Texas. What does that tell you? Our enemies are not afraid to mess with us any longer.

Who’ll test us next? Russia? North Korea? As long as our President’s foreign policies and responses continue to make us look foolish and docile, our country will be more vulnerable than ever before.

Today’s full Sekulow broadcast includes more analysis of news of the Taliban taking out the key ISIS-K leader responsible for the death of our soldiers and how Biden’s weakness has once again put the U.S. in a dangerous position. We were also joined by the Sekulow team’s Senior Military and Political Analyst Tulsi Gabbard and ACLJ Senior Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy and former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, who shares his reaction to this latest report and agrees that “the world is laughing at us.”
