March 12, 2023 - Jesus: "I am going to die" - Disciples: "We want position"

Jesus rescued us from Satan's jail - this is a violent rescue! - Colossians 1:13-14

Jesus' death paid the prices for our freedom

Jesus' resurrection was the victory over Satan and death

The condition of people of the world imprisoned by Satan is appalling!

Of the 8 billion people on the planet, 2 billion claim to be Christian

Of that 2 billion, it is estimated that less than 10% are genuine believers

That's 2 hundred million, which is 2.5% of the 8 billion on earth

* Do absolute moral truths exist?
* Is absolute truth defined by the Bible?
* Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
* Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today?
* Is salvation a give from God that cannot be earned?
* Is Satan real?
* Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people?
* Is the Bible accurate in all of it's teaching?

America is on a free-fall from the light!

The percentage of people with a Biblical worldview declines with each generation: (Impact 360 and Barna)

10% - Boomers
07% - Gen X
06% - Millennials
04% - Gen Z

This falling away marches lockstep with what Jesus said prior to His return - Matthew 24:37-38

The falling away comes first - 2 Thessalonians 2:3

This is the apostasy (the abandoning of the true faith),
" . . . giving heed to deceiving spirits" - 1 Timothy 4:1

While here, do not be caught up with "here"!

Do not put all your eggs in the "here" basket

Look Up, folks! Look Up!! - Luke 21:28

It does not make sense to fight for position here when we will be leaving here

I would suggest that you turn your eyes to Jesus - Look for HIM!!

HE IS COMING!
