Astronomers detect record 25 new fast radio bursts from outer space

Scientists have made an intriguing discovery in outer space, potentially indicating that E.T. might indeed be attempting to contact Earth.

A total of 25 enigmatic “fast radio bursts” (FRBs) have been detected by the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) radio telescope during the period from 2019 to 2021, the Daily Mail reported.

Fast radio bursts are immensely powerful bursts of radiation, and their origin remains a mystery. However, the prevailing belief is that they are likely emitted by dying stars situated in far-off galaxies.
