🇹🇷 On the condition of Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Last night, during a live broadcast on Ulke TV channel, the President of Turkey felt unwell. The broadcast was interrupted, and after 20 minutes Erdogan appeared on the air again, apologizing to the viewers.

He explained his condition with a busy schedule ahead of the presidential elections scheduled for May 14th, as well as a stomach upset. The fact that the live broadcast started an hour and a half late also indicates problems with the health of the Turkish leader.

Since Erdogan had planned campaign events in the cities of Kirikkale, Yozgat, and Sivas, Vice President Fuat Oktay went to attend them. The President of Turkey announced that he would stay at home at the recommendation of doctors.

❗️ Today, information began to circulate on social media that Erdogan had a heart attack. According to unconfirmed reports, he is in intensive care, and doctors assess his condition as critical.

The authorities have not yet commented on the news. Local media also neither confirm nor deny the incident.

🔻It is not excluded that if Erdogan does not appear before the public in the coming hours, the government will resort to blocking social media, and the media will limit the publication of news about the president's health. Similar measures were taken during the November terrorist attack and the recent earthquake to "counter disinformation."
