❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on April 26 2023.

▪️Another prisoners of war exchange took place at the border of Belgorod and Sumy regions. 40 Russian servicemen will be taken to Moscow by military transport aircraft for further medical treatment and rehabilitation.

▪️The AFU continue shelling civilian infrastructure in Belgorod Region. The village of Krasnoe came under fire: residential houses were damaged, no casualties were reported.

▪️Russian artillery launched strikes on targets in Druzhkivka. Police department building, used for personnel deployment, was one of the targets.

▪️To the north of the Khromove village, Russian troops continue to storm AFU positions. As a result of fierce fighting, servicemen managed to break the first enemy defense line and occupy part of the trenches.

▪️In Bakhmut, Russian assault groups continue to advance, pushing the AFU to the western outskirts of the city. According to an objective assessment, Wagner PMC assault groups currently control at least 85 percent of the city's territory.

▪️Fierce fighting continues north of the Avdiivka fortified area. In the Krasnohorivka area, Russian units are on the offensive, trying to gain foothold in the area of the railroad.

▪️On the southern flank, Russian servicemen, supported by heavy armored vehicles, storm the AFU positions in the direction of Sjeverne. Despite resistance, the enemy loses strongholds and is forced to retreat to reserve positions.
