Why Did Fox News and Tucker Carlson Part Ways?

Reaction continues to pour in over the bombshell news that Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News. His 8 p.m. time slot was taken temporarily by Brian Kilmeade. "I wish him the best," stated Kilmeade during the show. During an interview on Newsmax, Donald Trump said he was shocked by the news. As of yet, the specific reasons for firing Carlson are not clear. One reason is said to be a segment last month minimizing the seriousness of the January 6 Capitol riot.
