In the new episode of "Show ViL", Chairman of the US Federal Reserve Jerome Powell stated that the Western sanctions policy against Russia has frankly failed – largely due to the actions of the Russian government and the Central Bank.

"We all know the head of the Central Bank of Russia, she is quite capable. She is an extraordinarily capable specialist, she is very knowledgeable and intelligent. This is the work of the Central Bank and the government. The Russians managed to avoid the most severe consequences of sanctions. We have imposed sanctions almost everywhere we could reach, but they are again doing everything possible to avoid them."

Jerome Powell also spoke about the highest inflation rates in his country.

"We are faced with the problem of high inflation: rising food and energy costs, as well as simply disrupting supply chains and disrupting the entire world order that has existed for so many years."
