Unfinished Fairy / Galaxy Opal from Queensland Australia

We have just recently completed treating a recent batch of Fairy/Galaxy Opal from Queensland, Australia. As you can see, we found quite a few awesome ones but this one is certainly one of my favorites. I'll upload a few more longer form videos in the future.

The colour is fantastic on this one. I can't wait to finish it up with the resin treatment and it will be good to go!

**This opal is a Fairy Opal (or Galaxy Opal) from central Queensland mined in Winton and treated and cut by myself and mined by a mate. As you can see this Fairy Opal is brilliant and colourful at a cheap price compared to Opal from Lightning Ridge or Coober Pedy. The only difference is that Fairy Opal gets cooked in a sugar water to darken the host rock (which is usually sandstone) and covered with a resin to stabilize the Gem. It's all 100% Australian Opal mined from our Miner and sent to us to cut these beautiful Gem Stones!**
