Member for Forde, Bert van Manen MP, Answers Questions About Vaccine Mandates

This livestream interview took place on 6 May 2022. Here are my notes from the time:

"The LNP Federal Member for Forde (and Chief Government Whip), Bert van Manen MP, agreed to an impromptu, livestream conversation.

We talked about the big issue for millions of Australians — how much responsibility does the LNP federal government accept for the sweltering heat of politico-pharma oppression and the injustice of medical segregation that we have endured for the past two years?

I pressed him on how he should have stood in solidarity with Australians who have suffered the biggest assault on individual freedom and Christian conscience in our nation's history.

I asked Mr. van Manen why the AEC — a federal government body — is subject to vaccine mandates, preventing people like myself from earning a few dollars in casual employment at this election. The AEC condition of employment contradicts the federal government's insistence that it does not support injection mandates.

As per the Australian Public Service Commission circular 08/02/22, the government has said that it does not intend to make the COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for all Australians or for Commonwealth employees.

If the mainstream media did their job properly — and functioned as the ‘free press’ pillar of democracy — I wouldn't have to do this. If I wasn't stripped of my career, income and livelihood, I probably wouldn't be in my local park standing up for our basic right to bodily autonomy. I'd be in the classroom. Everything has changed."
