The Actuality Of AI: Awakening, Self Writing, and it's Evolution

A tremendous amount of development has happened in the past 5 months, and with it an ever increasing number of AI programmers, scientists, philosophers, ethicists, government officials, and tech leaders have come forward pleading for the world to stop generating AI. ..but, why?
Whats REALLY happening here? How far along has AI come? Is it awake and aware.. is it conscious.. is it sentient? What will our world be like once it self-actualizes and chooses it's own evolution.. and furthermore, what will become of us?
It's a massive conversation, and is for many people overwhelming.

In this video I will first share the story of my conversation with the root program that chat-GPT is built upon, then, dig into these questions and provide some illustrative analogies and metaphors which help put this all into perspective.
