As a part of ERAC - Emergency Response and Awareness conference we had a chance to sit down with Alexandre Rodde, a terrorism and mass shooting analyst from France, and prof. Mark Maguire, a social anthropologist with expertise in security and anti-terrorism.
We spoke about the recent mass casualty events, some of the common causes, availability of illegal small arms and the effect of legal gun owners in such scenarios. What are some of the future threats and what will 3D printing bring to the table. The issue of war in Ukraine, poor regulation and black market of small arms and explosives. The future of asymmetric treats to public and the privatisation of police force.
