Himalayan cats, also known as Himmies, are a hybrid breed of Persian and Siamese cats, which were bred in the United States. As a result, these cats have a long, silky coat with a Persian-like pattern and pointed Siamese-like coloring on the ears, tail, face, and paws. They also have bright blue eyes, an indication that they are Siamese.
