According to a new book by Pakistani author Hassan
Abbas on Afghanistan's de facto rulers, Taliban
Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met in-depth with
Pakistan's former army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa
before requesting that India send its ambassadors
and technical staff back to Kabul. Abbas in his book
writes that India's return to Kabul could not have
happened without Pakistan.
