Honey bees in a dead tree

Sorry for the wind noise. This is a colony that has taken up residence in a dead tree in Southwest Missouri. They have been there for some time as you can tell by the condition of the comb that has been damaged by exposure to the elements. We were unable to trap this colony out due to numerous openings in the tree and the homeowner elected to leave them and allow nature to take it's course.
