Nowruz celebration in Iran

Nowruz celebration in Iran is one of the most important traditional and popular festivals that is celebrated every year at the beginning of spring with joy and fragrance. Nowruz begins on the first day of Farvardin in the Iranian solar calendar, which is around March 21 or 22 and lasts for 13 days.

During this celebration, Iranians meet their families and friends with all their enthusiasm and joy, and they think about their past and hope for the future. This celebration is usually celebrated with jumping over bonfires, traditional games, eating special Nowruz foods, making halva, buying new clothes and tablecloths, and exchanging congratulatory gifts with each other.
