Why we call our Ranger Tugs R-29 our Garmin boat

We have plans to cruise to Alaska once we get to know our boat and become better boaters. As we continue to learn and grow, one vendor stands out as the supplier of many critical items aboard Emerson, our Ranger Tugs R-29CB. It is Garmin.

This is an overview of our Garmin systems with some level of review, focused on those systems we haven’t found a lot of information about, such as the GC 200 camera. We include systems provided by Ranger Tugs and systems we added with varying degrees of success.

These are not in-depth reviews and our opinions are just that.

For every R-29CB detail we could think of, we recommend that you download the “The Unofficial R-29 User Guide” from the homepage of https://www.outwestrider.com. Always free and hopefully always improving. No forms to fill out, no mailing list to join. No data collected.
