What I Found On The Tracks That Made Me Dial 911, Plus ELS 501 Returns! #trains | Jason Asselin

What a surprise today to see ELS 501 (SD40-2) BACK IN SERVICE after a long time being down while ELS 503, ELS 402 & ELS 502 deal with the derailed train down in Green Bay, WI. Someone had said 501 was in Green Bay helping, but obviously is was 502 instead.. About my title?
Sometime FATE puts you in places that you need to be, so being observant is needed most of the time.. It helped yesterday at 6pm on my way to get my car fixed when I saw a wheelbarrow sitting near the train tracks with something next to it, it appeared to be a pile of something. I made it 3 or 4 blocks before turning around because that inner voice was saying, THAT looked like a body.. As I rounded the corner I immediately dialed 911 and checked on the man laying there. It was a man, not just a pile of anything..
He had been out there awhile I think, he was cold to the touch and not moving, not responding either until I yelled at him to which he moved. I got my blanket from the car and covered him, I sat and talked to him as help arrived. He is my neighbor who I see almost every day, and I'm so glad to have found him when I did. So many things lined up for me to be driving by when I did, it can only be FATE that I was there when I was...
