Wouxun KG-1000 mobile radio install

Installing a GMRS Wouxun kg-1000 radio in a 2022 GMC Acadia. This video discuses how I installed this radio in my car's headliner console and where and how I ran the coax and power cables. I also discuss how I ended up hanging the microphone using a magnetic mount attached to the headliner of the vehicle. This radio is capable of outputting 50 watts of transmit power and because it operates on GMRS frequencies a license from the FCC is required.
