The Market Common Myrtle Beach South Carolina

Today Mike and I are taking you on a tour of this fabulous place in South Carolina. Only a few blocks from Myrtle Beach so it's convenient to everything in the area. Once home to the Myrtle Beach Air Force base, now it's premier dining, shopping, and entertainment destination. A few of the original structures still exist throughout the community. The streets are named for the heroes who shaped its history and that of World War II. Historical markers are placed throughout the district telling stories of the military heroes, military buildings that were once here, and historical events in which the men and women stationed in Myrtle Beach played a part. Today, The Market Common has become The Place to be for outdoor events. Events such as New Year's Eve party, The Taste of the Market, free concerts and movies, Halloween and Christmas celebrations just to name a few.
