Today we pay tribute to an icon in the passing of Sergeant George Redelk. Sergeant Redelk served valiantly in the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment in Vietnam. Known in the laurels of history as the Black Horse Regiment. George portrayed that Calvary spirit; he was awarded the Silver Star and the Purple Heart and was the son of a Comanche Code Talker. Sergeant Redelk was a generational Cavalryman and Soldier. Despite these incredible accomplishments, George’s most significant contribution was to the Army of the Lord. After returning from Vietnam, George received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was an incredible Disciple of King Jesus. Serving His Family, the Comanche Nation, and His Church. George also served with the Comanche Indian Veterans Association performing color guards for deceased veterans across America! Go Bold George!
