Wilson told #bareknucklenews he felt his opponent was finding a home for that lead hook in what was a tough fight that truly tested him.

Also, Randall had a lot more power and composure than Wilson figured going into the ring. Wilson mentioned he wished he made his opponent pay a little more by working the body and level change to the head a bit more. But Wilson was still confident he earned the verdict of the ringside judges.

Wilson is now likely to find himself a rankings spot in the next BKFC update as he bested a ranked contender here. Randall was situated at number two in the flyweight hierarchy heading into this fight. A particularly important fight as an inaugural champion has still not been cemented in this weight category.

Some of Wilson’s more noticeable attributes are his southpaw stance and being one of the shorter fighters in the division. He mentioned to BKN he should probably fight at 115 considering his walk-around weight relative to his flyweight peers. This obviously gives speed benefits but moreover, Wilson also believes he just has way more grit than his opponents.

As far as what’s next for Wilson, he stated, “I want that (John) Dodson fight. I feel like I got more grit than a lot of people he’s been fighting. The people he’s been fighting, man, they already been through the wars. He’s calling out guys that already been beat down and battered in this. I’m still fresh. This has been my hardest fight and it’s my fifth fight in.”

“I haven’t been dropped yet, so I feel like I’ll give him a fight he hasn’t had before. If they don’t want to give me Dodson, give me an easy fight, easy payday, and let me beat the fuck out of Albert Inclan. That crackhead keeps talking shit. I’m gonna knock him the fuck out. So give me Dodson or give me Albert Inclan.”
