I discuss part of a recent CNBC interview with Warren Buffett in Japan, in which the legendary investor gave his thoughts on a potential repeat of the US banking crisis, and on the recent Silicon Valley Bank and US regional bank troubles. Buffett talks about the importance of having public confidence in the banks, and backstops for all US bank deposits.
